Our first 'product' was a custom test system for Apple's A/V labs and production lines. Rigorous test procedures and high resolution equipment remain the heart of LANDMARK's enterprise. We use a variety of proprietary and industry-standard tools in our laboratory and field test systems. A collection of measurement microphones from ACO Pacific, Bruel&Kjaer, Earthworks, Ivie, and LinearX are teamed with analyzers like MLSSA, LMS, CLIO, Audio Control, Tektronix, and LabVIEW, allowing us to examine many phenomena from many angles. A hemi-anechoic acoustic test lab, traditional and computerized data acquisition and analysis hardware, and a well-equipped listening room (including A/B/X ability) round out our comprehensive in-house capabilities.

Many clients have noise problems with a product design or OEM assembly. For example, hard drives are moving into the quieter living room spaces of many consumers, generating complaints with some newer video and gaming products. Quality testing of these phenomena requires the proper environment and high-precision tools. At LANDMARK we have both fixed and portable test systems so we can either measure it here, or travel to your site and perform well-calibrated tests of your particular problem.
